Men do make our lives miserable at times don’t they? And in addition to the crying and feeling sorry for yourself when they are particularly unbelievable, cursing them seems to work yeah? But sometimes it’s as much our fault for being treated the way we get treated you know.
Sure we often go, “well it’s his loss, he doesn’t know he has a good thing going on”. Question is, are YOU his idea of a good thing? Because sometimes, we find ourselves sticking around in an arrangement (we won’t say relationship because hey, who are we kidding) that does nothing for us but bring out the worst.
He doesn’t call – you say it’s because he’s broke; he doesn’t text – you say he’s busy; he doesn’t seem to want to meet up and be with you – you say he’s going through some stuff; he stands you up – you figure something important really came up. COME ON!!! Why stick around for that?
You end up being insecure, you are ever depressed, checking your phone every minute hoping His Grace will finally think of you. When you finally decide your pride and dignity can go to hell for a day, you call him – he doesn’t pick up, you text – he doesn’t respond. Honestly, you don’t need rocket science to tell you what you should do right there.
I know I know, when you are head over heels for someone, you hardly make logical choices. And he probably is going through some stuff and rushing to end things mightn’t be the smartest of things to do. But one can only take so much you know.
I figure if he loves you for real, he should at least consider how whatever he does makes you feel. If he can go the whole day without talking to you, if he doesn’t mind not seeing you for days on end even if you are in the same city, then I figure sticking around in that “arrangement” is doing more harm than good for you.
If his signals aren’t making you happy, don’t stick around for anymore mixed signals girlfriend! You deserve better than that!
