The newly formed musicians association known as the Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF) is set to celebrate Kato Lubwama’s life in a very special way. This federation is led by Eddy Kenzo and Kato Lubwama has also been past and a Member of them despite it being new.
Kato Lubwama was so rare in things concerning musicians. He was so much into the film industry but whenever he was invited in musicians things he would show up. As an elder in the entertainment industry, the Federation invited him but he has died before advising them on anything. However his legacy in the industry is still remarkable.
According to Eddy Kenzo, Kato Lubwama will forever be credited and remembered for so many good things he has done for the entertainment industry. He was very outspoken and he used to say things that were on his mind and other people feared to say.
Eddy Kenzo said most of his words didn’t sound well but they were the truth and very educative to those that took them serious. As a president of UNMF, Eddy Kenzo said members of the Federation will be at Kato Lubwama’s home until he is buried. He said they want to also do something special for him because they are preparing as he was one of their members.
“The late Kato Lubwama will forever be credited for his confidence in saying what most people can’t say. Well, some words might not sound well but there are those that were educative and encouraging. What happened to the late Kato Lubwama is so absurd.
