Former Rubaga South Member of Parliament Hon Kato Lubwama was announced dead yesterday evening. His death came as a shock to so many Ugandans because it was very abrupt as Kato Lubwama looked to be perfectly fine.
For some years, he has been having health issues like heart problems but he was trying hard to manage them and again fight for his life. So many people thought he wouldn’t make it last year after he was bedridden and transferred to Turkey for a heart surgery. But luckily enough he made it and returned to the country very okay.
But towards his death, he was fine moving and interacting with other people. He even did an interview few hours to his death commenting about Alien Skin and Pallaso’s concerts. When Kato Lubwama was announced dead, people wondered what could have caused his death.
According to one of his relatives, Lubwama died of a heart attack. Because he has been having the problem of heart for some time, he was on medication. But yesterday the medication didn’t help, when he got a heart attack they were quick to rush him to the hospital although he didn’t make it.
This close relative known as Julius revealed that Kato Lubwama didn’t reach the hospital alive. He died on his way to their but they made sure he gets there. Those that have been wondering what could have killed Kato Lubwama, it is a heart problem that he has been battling for some time.
It should be noted that Lubwama has been in the entertainment industry for more than 30 years. Up to his death, he has been still acting and he has left some projects hanging in the air. The late was also preparing to do a concert at Serena Hotel.
