Hon Thomas Tayebwa a member of the Parliament of Uganda since 2016 and a current Deputy Speaker of the Parliament since 2022 is one of the prominent persons that have publicly mourned the death of former member of parliament and drama actor Kato Lubwama who passed on in the night on 7th of June, 2023 at Stana Medical Centre in Bunamwaya.
The sad news circulated much on social media today’s morning and this shocked many people including his fans, his fellow current and former members of parliament, bloggers, netizens and many more. And among the people in deep sorrow after hearing his death is Hon Tayebwa who through his Twitter account sent in his condolences to his friends and family.
“Woken up to the sad news of Hon. Kato Lubwama’s death. The former MP brought life to the 10th Parliament. He could bring a smile to all of us. He was passionate on seeing the entertainment industry grow and employ as many young people as possible. To him, the political divide in the country was unnecessary. He believed in a more united country with no hard feelings based on political beliefs. I wish to extend my condolences to his family and constituents. Rest in peace brother .” Hon Thomas Tayebwa tweeted.
