Cindy Sanyu Comments about Spice Diana and Sheebah’s Social Media Fights

Uganda Musician Association (UMA) president and dancehall artiste Cindy Sanyu has commented on fellow singers Sheebah and Spice Diana’s social media fights.

Uganda’s music industry has had issues especially between female artistes. There has been so much competition between Spice Diana and Sheebah but none of them had come out to talk about it.

The fans of the two artistes were the ones attacking each other on social media but artistes themselves had never attacked each other.

Although they were not communicating, last year Sheebah decided to make amends with Spice Diana in public. She showed up at her EP listening party and went on stage were Spice Diana was performing to hug her and shower her with loving words.

But few months after talking and becoming friends, Spice Diana went on her Instagram and unfollowed Sheebah. She deleted all their photos together and said nothing.

By the time Spice Diana was doing that, Sheebah wasn’t even in the country, she had travelled for a birthday ceremony in Nairobi.

Their separation left so many people questioning their friendship in the first place. People wanted to know what could have triggered the friendship to end very soon after they promises to support each other in everything.

According to Cindy Sanyu, people shouldn’t question anything because all was seen from the beginning that the two artiste are just pretending.

She said two competitive artistes can never be friends especially close friends yet they have to make money through the competition.

Cindy advised Spice Diana and Sheebah to just stop pretending and respect each other’s hustle because that’s how things work out.

“I just laugh at people who were surprised by the separation of Spice Diana and Sheebah. Couldn’t they see from the beginning that it was about pretense. People should know two competitive artistes can never be friends and as an artiste i advise artistes to stop fighting and respect each other’s hustle,” Cindy Sanyu said.
