FUFA’s Competitions Department has confirmed the date and venue for the Stanbic Uganda Cup final, featuring Kitara FC and NEC FC. The final will take place on May 25th, 2024, at Muteesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku.
The date and venue for this year’s Stanbic Uganda Cup final have been officially confirmed by FUFA’s Competitions Department.
This announcement follows the confirmation of the two finalists, Kitara FC and NEC FC, over the weekend.
According to a statement from Aisha Nalule, the Director of FUFA Competitions, the final match is scheduled for Saturday, May 25th, 2024, at Muteesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku.
The culmination of this prestigious knockout tournament will occur shortly after the conclusion of the Uganda Premier League.
It’s worth noting that in recent years, the final has been hosted on a rotational basis across all eight regions of FUFA. For example, last year’s final saw Vipers SC emerge victorious over Police FC at Akii Bua Stadium in Lira, Northern Region.
In the journey to this year’s final, Kitara FC secured their spot by defeating Pajule Lions with a 4-1 aggregate score in the semifinals, while NEC FC advanced by eliminating BUL FC.
