Rapper and Lugaflow king Gravity Omutujju has today dropped Mukama Akola, a dose of music to his fans as the Gwanga Mujje failure celebrations continue. Yes, Gravity keeps at the spot of being the only artiste that is openly celebrating Jose Chameleone’s challenges in his musical career.
Mukama Akola song comes in a time where the beef between Gravity Omutujju and Jose Chameleone is at its peak. And recently, heavy rains and winds stopped Jose Chameleone’s Gwanga Mujje concert at Lugogo Cricket Oval just hours to the show. Leaving property worth millions destroyed, and it was postponed to 24th February 2023.

Singer Gravity Omutujju was the only artiste that came out publicly and posted saying Mukama Akola, that Jose Chameleone was paying for the bad heart he harbors and for the bad things he has done to people. This caused an uproar in the music industry where we saw faded producer Bushingtone come out and call upon every Ugandan to boycott Gravity’s music.
Other artistes like Naira Ali were seen defending Gravity Omutujju saying that he was right to speak up. In her ordeal, she asserted that Ugandan musicians are being silently traumatised by others and they expect the oppressed to keep quiet by citing an example where Spice Diana’s manager Roger paid media not to play her songs.
Mukama Akola is a real ‘celebration’ from Gravity Omutujju but still, may be his first ever gospel song in disguise.
