The official Golden Jubilee Song titled ‘Yoga Yoga’ has been launched as the country prepares to celebrate 50 years of Uganda’s independence. The song was produced by Richard Kaweesa of the Spirit of Africa Ltd.
Yoga Yoga a phrase which means greetings in Iteso and Japadhola languages and congratulations in Luganda features Tusker Project Fame 2 winner Esther Nabaasa, Richard Kaweesa and gospel artiste Barbara Kayaga among others.
During the launch of Yoga Yoga at the independence monument in Kampala, The Minister for Economic Monitoring in the office of the President Hon. Henry Banyenzaki appealed to the youth to take extra care so they can witness Uganda in 2062.
