Accident left him in a wheelchair
In the case, the four, including Emmanuel Tallam, Fridah Kaimuri - an administrator with Nation Media Group and Ephantus Mwangi, sought damages from Linus Kaikai.
The former journalists sought the courts' intervention in getting paid by Mr Kaikai after an accident that left Chacha and Kaimuri, in wheelchairs.
In his affidavit, Chacha, who was a passenger in the ill-fated car, said that he had suffered huge financial losses as he sought medical attention locally and abroad.
"After the accident, I suffered permanent injuries and the accident occurred due to negligence in the part of the defendant who owned the car," the communications director stated.
Speaking at the High Court in Naivasha, Kaimuri detailed how her life was completely altered after the accident.
She told Judge Richard Mwongo that she wanted to be compensated since the accident had left her permanently disabled and with high bills to settle.
Loss of Memory
Kaimuri stated that she had lost her memory of what happened on the fateful day when the accident occurred along the Mai Mahiu- Narok road.
Overwhelmed with emotions Kaimuri told the court that she recalls waking up in the hospital and was informed that she could not walk.
She further revealed that the fatal accident had left a dent on her mentally, physically and financially adding that her work at Nation Media was also affected.
