Police in Uganda's capital, Kampala, have opened investigations against four people, including vocal opposition MP Betty Nambooze, over Ibrahim Abiriga's death.

Abiriga together with his brother were assassinated on Friday last week by gunmen riding a motorcycle.

Nambooze is part of the investigation following last year's statements where she said it's easy to attack Abiriga even with bodyguards around -- she is being investigated for inciting violence, according to Uganda Radio Network.
