Singer Ykee Benda is flying to Russia ahead of the 21st FIFA World Cup finals in Moscow.

The crooner is extremely happy about his trip to the world's largest nation and he is making us jealous.

Ykee Benda is among the five African artistes which were selected to add "their local flavour and represent their regions to expose audiences to global diversity" on the official World Cup song by Jason Derulo

These singer posted a jolly video singing "this is the day the Lord has made, we will fly straight to Moscow".

However, he will not be performing but rather be part of the spectators of another historic World Cup final.

Last Month, Benda revealed why didn't perform at the opening ceremony of the World Cup as Ugandans had expected.

He said "performing at the opening ceremony of the World Cup wasn't part of the deal"but when he heard media and fans hyping him, he also didn't let the cat out of the bag.

The Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow will host the finale to the 2018 World Cup. There have been 20 finals, with Brazil the most successful country with five titles.
