Socialite Bad Black on Monday appeared at the Police Directorate of Criminal Investigations (CID) over offensive communication.
Black, also known as Shanita Namuyimbwa, allegedly made serious allegations last about against President Museveni accusing him of impregnating her and offering money for abortion.
The naughty socialite appeared at the headquarters with her lawyers Julius Galisonga and Sam Muyizzi.
The allegations she made breached the Computer Misuse Act, according to detectives.
The summon noticed issued on February 20th reads: "We are investigating a case of offensive communication and criminal libel. You are, therefore, in pursuance of the provisions of Section 27A of the Police Act (as amended) required to report before acting Commissioner of Police [in charge of media department] at CID headquarters…without fail."
Computer Misuse Act 2011 on offensive communication penalises persons who 'willfully and repeatedly uses electronic communication to disturb or attempts to disturb the peace, quiet or right of privacy of any person with no purpose of legitimate communication'.
The accused, if found guilty, are liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding twenty-four currency points (480,000) or imprisonment not exceeding one year or both.
