A French tourist, Tutin Jean Piere, has died after tracking gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Uganda's western district of Kanungu District.

The 63-year-old died on Saturday after developing a strange illness, according to one of the three colleagues.

Police in Kanungu have initiated investigations to find the possible cause of death.
